#### Location
Alcanada is a wealthy little suburb of Alcudia with some wonderful restaurants and a slightly rugged beach. A paved walkway leads from the town to the farthest point of the beach, level with the lighthouse and is popular with joggers and cyclists. There are some stunning properties in Alcanada with cascading flower gardens and epic sea views. The stunningly located Alcanada Golf Club is very popular with its manicured fairways and spectacular views. The restaurant there offers Spanish and International cuisine.

Of course, Alcudia is much loved and visited for its charm and buzzy vibe. The Medieval Old Town is wonderfully atmospheric with cobbled streets, historic buildings including the Church of Saint Crist, delicious restaurants and charming, unique shops. The fabulous Friday open-air market takes place within the Old Town walls. Entertaining concerts and plays take place in the summer months. The music ranges from medieval music to cool jazz. It is such a lovely place to sit in a bar, and just people watch!

Palma, the capital, is gorgeous and definitely worth a visit. The stunning cathedral has amazing views from the roof terrace. Whether you are in the cobbled streets of the atmospheric old town, or in the heart of the grand plazas, impressive monuments, museums, galleries or churches of Gothic splendour, you will appreciate the beauty and majesty of Palma. The halls of seafood, fruit and vegetables at Olivar Market are so colourful and lovely to wander through.
