Description

Overlooking the golf course at Praia d'el Rey and just a few minutes' walk from the beach, Casa Reyo offers modern accommodation on Portugal's glamorous Silver Coast. Within easy reach of Obidos, Caldas da Rainha and Peniche, this property sleeps up to eight guests who can all enjoy its sea views and private pool.
Right beside the house you will find a spacious terrace with ample room to relax around the 8m x 5m private pool. There is also an outdoor shower, a barbecue and a covered dining terrace. Pop up to the roof and you can get an even better view of the golf course and beautiful surrounding countryside.

Step inside from the terrace and you'll be in Casa Reyo's modern kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and an informal dining area. In the living room there is more space to dine, as well as a comfy lounge area with decorative fireplace and TV.

Each of the four bedrooms has access to a private bathroom and features a queen-size bed. There are two on the ground floor and two more upstairs. On the lower level, you will also find an additional WC.

The villa also enjoys the use of a range of facilities on the estate, including a larger shared pool, a children's pool and playground. Several other activities, including use of the gym, golf course, tennis courts or bikes, are also available at an additional cost.
Numerous scenic destinations can be found either along the coast or not far inland, including Peniche, with its excellent surf conditions, and the popular medieval town of Obidos, which is around 12km from Casa Reyo. The beaches of Foz do Arelho, and the bustling city of Caldas da Rainha also make for easy day trips, while regional highlights like Sintra and Lisbon are around one hour's drive south of Praia d'el Rey.

#### Location
Portugal's Silver Coast has no shortage of wonderful destinations within striking distance of Lisbon, making excursions outside the capital a must. One of the most popular is the medieval town of Obidos. Dominated by its castle and the Old Town walls, it's an hour's bus ride away and impressively well preserved.

While it can get busy, there's a lot to love about Obidos. It's architecturally and culturally rich, and has a City Museum and several notable churches to get you acquainted with its history. Several festivals take place in the town each year, including an Opera Festival and the International Chocolate Festival, and you may also catch an open-air concert or two if you visit during the summer.

The town is also particularly pretty at Christmas, and there's probably no better time to sample the famous Ginjinha cherry brandy. You will, however, find it served all day, every day and all year.

Caldas da Rainha, a spa town with some notable sights of its own, lies to the north of Obidos. Here, you can pay a visit to the pretty Dom Carlos I park, which is adjacent to the thermal hospital of what was Europe's first hydrotherapy resort. After a boat trip on the lake or a walk through the woods, pop into the city centre where you may find the street market in action on the Praca da Republica or, as the locals know it, Praca da Fruta.

West of Caldas da Rainha, the Lagoa de Obidos lagoon leads you towards the gorgeous beaches of Foz do Arelho, a lovely place to spend the day with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the local seafood in the nearby restaurants. Further down the coast, out-on-a-limb Peniche is both geographically and historically significant – its Atlantic-facing fortress has seen it all, as you can discover at the museum this 16th-century bulwark now houses.
