Villa Castalia is a splendid and luminous two-story villa situated in a quiet location, surrounded by a wonderful garden. It sleeps ten people. It is approximately 130 square meters (1400 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two spacious private terraces, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 4 km (2.5 miles) from Fasano, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find a grocery store at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile) and the closest beach (Spiaggia di Savelletri) at 7 km (roughly 4.3 miles). You will reach Villa Castalia from the parking area along a short walkway that cuts through the garden and has no stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Castalia you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge inside the entrance gate.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 7 meters (23 feet) large by 15 meters (50 feet) long, from 1.30 meter (4.3 feet) to 1.70 meters (5.6 feet) deep. The swimming pool has a sinuous shape. The area is equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will have a view of the garden. The pool is open from the beginning of April until mid-October.
Garden
The garden is 100 square meters (1076 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by characteristic olive trees and by tall pinetrees. The garden is equipped with masonry benches, as well as with a table and an hammock.
Ground FloorPatio
The patio is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic porch. It is equipped with two wickerwork sofas and two armchairs and with a table, chairs and a swing. Here you will also find a barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the patio you will have a view of the swimming pool and of the garden.
Living Room
The living room is paved with elegant majolica tiles. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include two armchairs and a desk. There is a big and elegant fireplace made of stone. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio with a view of the swimming pool through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
The kitchen is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the kitchen two French doors will take you to the patio with a view of the swimming pool. The room also has a window.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). In this room you will find a flat-screen television (local channels). The room has a window which overlooks the back of the house. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a mini refrigerator. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid handmade majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room. The terrace is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a retractable awning. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will have a pleasant view of the swimming pool and of the garden and of the surrounding countryside.
Bedroom 5 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the fifth bedroom from the corridor going up a spiral staircase. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). In this room you will find a flat-screen television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the swimming pool and of the garden through a French door.
