Costa Teguise and Puerto del Carmen represent the more touristic areas with relaxing beaches untouched by the wind and a chilly nightlife, with a multitude of bars, restaurants,for all tastes.

Puerto del Carmen has a very long sandy beach with a gentle slope into the sea. It is safe for bathers of all ages, including children. Behind the beach is the main thoroughfare - over a mile of busy shops, restaurants and bars, with many holiday villas and apartment blocks sitting behind these.
