This traditional detached cottage is set in a quiet position at the water's edge between the villages of Chapeltown and Knightstown, on Valentia Island. The property has been skilfully restored to maintain much of its original character whilst still providing a comfortable standard of accommodation and convenience. The property is able to sleep up to three people over two bedrooms and boasts a welcoming open fire and pretty gardens to the rear. The property is also within easy reach of the amenities and activities in Knightstown, as well as offering beautiful views across the water.

Easily accessible from the mainland by a ferry that runs from Reenard Point, or via the road bridge at Portmagee, Knightstown provides restaurants and pubs, as well as entertainment and local shops. It also offers a variety of sightseeing boat trips and fishing trips from its picturesque harbour. With around 650 residents, Valentia Island was the site of the first permanent communications link between Europe and the United States, and is famed for its magnificent 'Fogher' sea cliffs and its subtropical gardens at Glanleam House.
