Located on the Lisbon Coastline, Villa Deolinda is an impressive private villa sleeping up to twelve guests. Just a short drive from Cascais and on the edge of the Sintra-Cascais National Park, you are ideally located for exploring this picturesque corner of Portugal.

Even from the outside, Villa Deolinda is a beautiful building and has wow factor. You're welcomed into an airy, light hallway and as you move through to the open-plan lounge and dining room, the understated decor make this huge social space inviting and relaxing. The modern furnishings continue into the well-appointed kitchen which is more than big enough to rustle-up dinner for big family gatherings or celebrations with friends. Such a stylish venue is ideal for both.

Two twin bedrooms are found on the ground floor, both en-suite and featuring floor-length windows. On the first floor there are a further three bedrooms. Classically decorated with wooden floors and white, cooling walls, the master bedroom is en-suite featuring a hydromassage shower and your very own balcony. This can be your treat at the beginning and end of each day. Sit, read, sip a nightcap and enjoy the view. The further two bedrooms are equally welcoming and comprise a queen-size bed with en-suite bathroom and another twin bedroom, also en-suite.

Villa Deolinda features a Garden House with a twin bedroom and en-suite bathroom. If you're sharing with family, this wonderful annexe to the main house is ideal for grandparents or a younger couple who may want to escape to their own space. Equally, two older children would love the independence of sleeping out here.

The Garden House is framed by greenery. Next to it, you'll find your covered dining area. Complete with a work surface, sink, barbecue and view of the pool, this is where you will retreat to during the hot Portuguese afternoons. For those sun-seekers who love to bask in the heat, you're only a hop, skip and jump from the pool terrace. Pick a sun lounger and lie back.

It's only from this corner of your delightful outdoor space that you realise just how beautiful Villa Deolinda really is. The potted palms, the manicured lawn, the terracotta-tiled terrace, the mature trees surrounding your spacious garden. Fabulous! Relax and let the rest of the day melt away. #### Location
Villa Deolinda is heaven on earth for golfers. It's literally surrounded by two of the best golf courses in the world; Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos Dunes.
You're just three kilometres to the wonderful town of Cascais and at its heart, the small yet delightful beach of Praia da Ribeira de Cascais. Historically the summer retreat of Lisbon's royalty and nobility, Cascais continues to attract holidaymakers from Portugal and overseas. Praia da Conceicao is another sandy beach on the outskirts of the town.

Guincho beach is renowned for wilder seas and thus a mecca for surfers. But if you really want to witness the power of the Atlantic, visit Boca do Inferno. On the other side of the headland and translated literally as Hell's Mouth, this collapsed cave and rocky cliff feel the full force of the ocean. Winter storms push seawater up through the open cave.

Head to the modern and bustling marina for nautical activity, a waterfront promenade and seafood lunch. Shoppers should explore the old town centre, where traditional houses are now boutiques, pavement cafes and restaurants. Stroll along tree-lined avenues and across romantic plazas for a truly continental retail experience.

For a full day's sightseeing and total immersion in culture, history and the arts, travel the forty minutes to one of Europe's finest capital cities. Families can avoid tired legs and take whistle-stop tours of Lisbon's incredible monastery, castle, palaces and museums. Either hop on and off the open top bus tour or board the famous number 28 tram. Find a restaurant or bar on the waterfront at Praco do Comercio for refreshment and people-watching.
